എന്റെ ജാതകത്തിൽ അങ്ങിനെയൊരു ദശ നീയായിട്ടു വരുത്തിവക്കുകയും വേണ്ട”

     ദേവരാജന്റെ ജാതകം നോക്കി ശനിദശക്കാലം കൃത്യമായി ശനി പറഞ്ഞു കൊടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.

     കാലം കടന്നു പോയി ശനി പറഞ്ഞ സമയം വന്നപ്പോൾ ദേവേന്ദ്രൻ ഒരു കാര്യം ഉറപ്പിച്ചു.

ആൾ എത്ര സമർത്ഥനായാലും ഏത് അധികാരി ആയാലും ശനി പിടിക്കേണ്ട സമയത്ത് ശനി പിടികൂടും തീർച്ചയാണ്.
അതാണ് ശനി .സാക്ഷാൽ ശനീശ്വരൻ.

  ശനി രുദ്രദേവതയെ പ്രതിനിധികരിക്കുന്ന ദേവനാണ് സൂര്യന്റെ മകനാണ്.
ശനി രഹസ്യ സ്വഭാവസവിശേഷതയുള്ള ദേവനാണ്.ശനിയുടെ മുമ്പിൽ ഒന്നും മറച്ചു വയ്ക്കാനാവില്ല തന്നെ.

     ശനിപ്പിഴയും ശനിദശയും ഒന്നല്ല രണ്ടും രണ്ടവസ്ഥയാണ്.
ശനിപ്പിഴ താൽക്കാലികമാണ് എന്നാൽ ശനിദശ ജാതകത്തിൽ ശനിയുടെ ദശ നടക്കുന്ന കാലം മുഴുവനും ആണ്.
അത് 19 കൊല്ലം വരും’
  ശനിദോഷപരിഹാരത്തിന് ശനിമന്ത്രം,
ശനിഗായത്രി എന്നിവ ജപിക്കാം ‘
ശനിദശാ കാലത്ത് നീല വസ്ത്രങ്ങൾ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നതും നല്ലതാണ്.
കാക്കയ്ക്ക് ചോറു കൊടുക്കുക
നീലത്താമര, ശംഖുപുഷ്പം നീല ചെമ്പരത്തി എന്നിവ കൊണ്ട് ശാസ്താവിനെ പൂജിക്കണം’

    ശനിദോഷം ലഘൂകരിക്കാൻ ശിവനെ വില്വ പത്രങ്ങളിൽ (കുവളത്തില) പൂജിക്കുന്നതും ശനീശ്വര ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലും ശാസ്താ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലും ശിവാംശമുള്ള മറ്റു ദേവതകളുടെ ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളിലും ചെന്ന് ആത്മാർത്ഥമായി പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യാം.

      നവഗ്രഹമുള്ള ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളിൽ പോകുമ്പോൾ ചില കാര്യങ്ങൾ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കണമെന്ന് പറയാറുണ്ട് ശനിപ്പിഴയുള്ളപ്പോൾ മാത്രം ശനിയെ പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചാൽ മതിയത്രെ.
ശനിയുടെ മുമ്പിൽ തല കുമ്പിടുകയോ,
കുമ്പിട്ടു നമസ്കരിക്കുകയോ വേണ്ടതില്ല. അങ്ങിനെ ചെയ്താൽ ശനി പുറത്തു കയറിയിരിക്കുമെന്നും പറയാറുണ്ട്.
ശനിയെ തൊഴുതുമടങ്ങുമ്പോൾ തിരിഞ്ഞു നോക്കിയാൽ ശനി കൂടെ പ്പോരാനിടയുണ്ടെന്ന വിശ്വാസവും ഉണ്ട്.
