After 292 Years, These Sacred Rituals Unfold…

On the morning of June 8th, the Stoopika Pratishtha (sacred pillar installation) ceremonies at the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple will commence with the Valiya Thampuran,
H.H. Moolam Thirunal Rama Varma, entering the temple premises through the Chempakathin Moodu Nada gateway.

Proceeding through the eastern side of the temple near the golden flag mast of Perumal, he will enter the inner sanctum, have darshan of Valiya Perumal (the principal deity), and then visit the Thiruvambadi Sreekrishna Swamy Temple for darshan of Lord Krishna.

Following this, under the guidance of the Tantri of the temple, Tharananallur Satheesan Namboothiripad, along with other acharyas, Nambis, and the group of priests, the Ashtabandha rituals (sacred consecration procedures) will be performed at the Thiruvambadi shrine.

After the Ashtabandha ceremony, the Valiya Thampuran and the team of priests will proceed to perform the re-consecration of Vishwaksena, in the presence of Valiya Perumal.

Following the re-consecration of Vishwaksena, accompanied by Kalashas (sacred pots), the Valiya Thampuran will take the eastern route and enter the Shiveli Pura, turn right through the southern entrance, reach the western Nada, and then turn right again to arrive at the western sand courtyard (manalpparappu).

On reaching the western courtyard, the Valiya Thampuran will remain there, while the priestly procession continues forward with the Kalashas, bypassing the Rama and Lakshmana lamps, and proceed via a temporarily constructed elevated pathway to the Stoopika site, where the Stoopika Pratishtha and Kumbhabhishekam (sacred consecration and ritual bathing) will take place.

Each Stoopika will be filled with 25 kilograms of paddy.

The temple administration has arranged facilities for devotees to witness the rituals. Additionally, the ceremonies will be broadcast on screens set up at all four temple gates for public viewing.

Permission has also been granted by the temple management and police to film the event from rooftops of buildings around the temple and broadcast it live to the public.

H H മൂലം തിരുനാൾ രാമ വർമ്മ  ചെമ്പകത്തിൻ മൂട് നട വഴി മതിലക  പ്രവേശനം നടത്തുന്നതോടെ ആരംഭിക്കും.

ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൻ്റെ കിഴക്കേ ഭാഗത്തെ പെരുമാളിൻ്റെ സ്വർണ്ണ കൊടി മരത്തിൻ്റെ സമീപത്തൂടെ  ക്ഷേത്രത്തിനകത്ത് പ്രവേശിച്ച്  വലിയ പെരുമാളിനെ ദർശിച്ച്  തിരുവമ്പാടി ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണ സ്വാമി ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ എത്തി ഭഗവത് ദർശനം നടത്തും.

തുടർന്ന് ക്ഷേത്ര തന്ത്രി തരണനല്ലൂർ സതീശൻ നമ്പൂതിരിപ്പാടിൻ്റെയും മറ്റ് അചാര്യന്മാരുടെയും, നമ്പിമാരുടെയും, പുരോഹിത സഞ്ചയത്തിൻ്റെയും നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ തിരുവമ്പാടിയിലെ അഷ്ട ബന്ധ ചടങ്ങുകൾ നടക്കും.

അഷ്ട ബന്ധ ചടങ്ങുകൾക്ക് ശേഷം അവിടന്ന് വലിയ തമ്പുരാനും പുരോഹിത സംഘവും വലിയ പെരുമാളിൻ്റെ സമക്ഷത്തുള്ള വിഷ്വക് സേനൻ്റെ പ്രതിഷ്ഠ നടത്താൻ നീങ്ങും..

വിഷ്വക് സേനൻ്റെ പുന: പ്രതിഷ്ഠയെ തുടർന്ന് കലശങ്ങൾക്ക് അകമ്പടി സേവിച്ച് വലിയ തമ്പുരാൻ കിഴക്ക് വശം വഴി ശിവേലിപ്പുരയിൽ പ്രവേശിച്ച് വലത്തോട്ട് തിരിഞ്ഞ് തെക്കേ നട ഭാഗം വഴി പടിഞ്ഞാറെ നടയിൽ എത്തി, വീണ്ടും വലത്തോട്ട് തിരിഞ്ഞ് പടിഞ്ഞാറെ മണൽപ്പരപ്പിൽ എത്തും.

പടിഞ്ഞാറെ ഭാഗത്തെ മണൽപ്പരപ്പിൽ എത്തിയ വലിയ തമ്പുരാൻ അവിടെ തന്നെ തുടരുകയും, പുരോഹിത സഞ്ചയം കലശങ്ങളുമായി വീണ്ടും  മുന്നോട്ട് നീങ്ങി, രാമ ലക്ഷ്മണ വിളക്കുകളും താണ്ടി താത്ക്കാലികമായി ഘടിപ്പിച്ച മുകളിലോട്ടുള്ള  പാതയിൽ കൂടി  സ്തൂപികാ സ്ഥാനത്ത് എത്തി സ്തൂപികാ പ്രതിഷ്ഠയും കുംഭാഭിഷേകവും നടത്തും… ഓരോ സ്തൂപികയിലും നിറച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത് ഇരുപത്തഞ്ച് കിലൊ വീതമുള്ള നെല്ലാണ്.

ഭക്തർക്ക് ചടങ്ങുകൾ ദർശിക്കാനുള്ള സൗകര്യം ഭരണ സമിതി ഏർപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. കൂടാതെ ചടങ്ങുകൾ നാല് നടകളിലും സ്ഥാപിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള സ്ക്രീനുകൾ വഴിയും ദർശിക്കാം

ചടങ്ങുകൾ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന്  പുറത്തുള്ള കെട്ടിടങ്ങളുടെ മുകളിൽ നിന്ന് ചിത്രീകരിക്കാനും, ലൈവായി തന്നെ ജനങ്ങളിലേക്ക് എത്തിക്കാനുമുള്ള അനുമതിയും ഭരണ സമിതിയും പോലീസും നല്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
