Vishnu has more avatharam.  Mathsya,kurma,varaha,Narasimha,vamana, parashurama, sreerama, balarama, sreekrishna, Kalki, Mohini,danvanthari,ayyappa, shastha and so on.

Gajendra moksham means protection from samsara . Reptiles swallow , water engulfs , all that we need is protection from this nakram..crocodile.

21. In narayaneeyam naimithika pralayam is for nirguna bhakthas ( bhakthas who look after their legs, ie: their lineage) thamasa bhakthas ate time, rajasa bhakrhas ate lust, nothing shut up about satvika bhakthas. The topmost bhakthi is nirguna bhakthi.

Neimithika pralayam is good night sleep
