Summary of 6th Chapter

-Deals with spiritual discipline meditation. Two fold:

1. Expose to vedha
2. Vedantha shravsnam

Preparatory meditation is called
Upasana,

Varities of Upasana are called
Vedhantha shravanam
(saguna upasanam) &
Eeswara dhyanam
(nirguna upasanam)

After this do veda shravanam , it will give self knowledge.

If you aren’t qualified, you will not be complete knowledgeful. Actual difference will be there.

Jnanam will take place but jana nishta will not take place, then do nidhi dyasanam.

If you avoid upasana do nidhidyasanam called nirguna deva upasanam.

I and knowledge should become one. Assimilation of knowledge called jnana nishta.

Vedantha shravanam gives Jnanam. Nidhidyasanam gives Nishta.
